Great coffee. Best banana bread I've had. My friend had the scones and they where great too. Lovely staff, so friendly. Fabulous views of the Hunter River.

Great little cafe accessible inside and out. Had a fabulous salmon poke bowl other half had teriyaki chicken poke bowl yum so good had half eaten before I took picture!!!! Will have to go back for photo 💕 …

I have been continuously surprised by the quality of the food and service at Lynch’s Hub. After visiting several times now, I was curious to try their online offering and I have been very impressed with the quality of the delicious items on offer. In particular, I highly recommend the Shiitake Mushroom & Szechuan Chilli Crisp topping which is perfect for complimenting simple dishes like eggs on toast. In addition, the Davidson Plum Jam and freeze dried gelato is extraordinarily delicious! Thank you to the owners and staff for providing such great food, products and service.

BEST ANZAC biscuit I’ve had in years. I’m very partial to an ANZAC biscuit & I buy them often when they look good. We dropped in during our dog walk yesterday for a coffee while a shower passed over & W.O.W. These are perfect, chewy yet soft, not too sweet lovely lush big Anzac biscuits. So good I bought a boxful to take home. I’m in heaven!!

Have been wanting to stop here for a while and glad we finally did - the coffee was made very well and with obvious love. We sat on the little outdoor deck and enjoyed vegan carrot breakfast cake (with coconut cream frosting) and corn fritters. A lovely spot to sit and watch the people and harbour life go by. Certainly can recommend. Friendly staff, great selection of cafe style food, location is 10:10 and 3/3 of us enjoyed our coffee ☕️

Lynch's Hub is Newcastle's must-visit coffee shop, overlooking the working harbour. The coffee is delicious every single time. The staff are talented and conscientious, and they treat people from all walks of life with respect and friendliness. There is a surprisingly varied and delicious range of sweets and savouries to enjoy, with a strong focus on local ingredients and vegetarian options to tempt and delight even the fussiest palate. I like their oat latte, their wattleseed gelato, their vegetarian poké bowl, their vegetarian rolls, and their portuguese tarts. I am not even a vegetarian, it's just that their plant-based options are so more-ish. This is a seriously impressive café, and a real credit to the city. Do visit if you can.

Stopped by for a late lunch. I ordered the ham, cheese and tomato toastie on gluten free bread and a passionfruit soft drink. The young boys working were friendly and helpful, and the older man was also very lovely. They took my gluten intolerance seriously and told me what they'd do to ensure I wouldn't get sick. Also probably the best gf bread I've had. Would definitely return!

As at April 24/2025 Wonderful cafe with unexpectedly awesome vegan options. I was so relieved to find such a welcoming cafe with fantastic vegan options, in a spot I'd never even known about. The vegan options included: (In the cabinet) A vegan gluten free muffin of the day (mango) Vegan falafel "sausage" Vegan crumble slice Vegan house made carrot and zucchini loaf with nutelex or dairy butter Vegan Portuguese tart Vegan almond/ chocolate almond croissant , vegan ham and cheese croissant On the menu VG Breakfast snacks 7am-2pm Vegan mango lassi chia pudding Vegan date and ginger Granola Vegan raisin and walnut toast Lunch Vegan Marinated tofu and kimchi banh mi Vegan Marinated tofu tofu poke bowl Vegan grilled zucchini and chermoula toastie Vegan "HCT" ham cheese tomato toastie A full compliment of ice cream and sorbet many of which were vegan and gluten free Vegan smoothies available as well as espresso coffee, teas, cold brew, juices and soft drinks. Vegan Vietnamese iced coffee.
